Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the DesignDaily Awards 2025 (“Awards“), organized by DesignDaily (“Organizer“). By submitting an entry, participants agree to be bound by these terms, which are designed to ensure a fair and transparent competition while reserving certain rights for the Organizer to maintain the integrity and smooth operation of the Awards.

1. Eligibility
The Awards are open to individuals, teams, and entities worldwide, including architects, designers, students, design firms, studios, development companies, and creative agencies. Projects must have been completed or conceptualized within the past six years (October 2019 to September 2025). The Organizer reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify entries that do not meet the stated criteria, at its sole discretion.

2. Submission Requirements
Participants must submit their entries via the official online portal by the final deadline of September 30, 2025 (GMT/UTC). Submissions must include all required materials (e.g., project descriptions, visuals) in English or with English translations. The Organizer may reject incomplete. Entry fees are non-refundable, even in cases of disqualification or withdrawal.

3. Entry Fees
Entry fees are as follows: Early Bird ($79 + VAT), Standard ($99 + VAT), and Late ($119 + VAT) per category. Participants are responsible for the additional taxes or charges. The Organizer may, at its discretion, offer fee extensions or discounts.

4. Intellectual Property
By submitting an entry, participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute the submitted materials for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes related to the Awards. Participants confirm they own the intellectual property for the submitted content, or declare that the submitted entry is a nomination for someone else’s work.. The Organizer may edit or adapt materials for promotional use without prior approval.

5. Judging Process
The judging process consists of three stages: Preliminary Screening (Editorial Office), Public Voting (Popular Vote Winners), and Jury Evaluation (Jury Winners). The Organizer reserves the right to adjust the judging process, criteria, or timeline as needed, including the selection or replacement of jury members, to ensure fairness or address unforeseen circumstances. Decisions by the Editorial Office and Jury are final.

6. Winner Announcement
Winners will be announced in Late December 2025. The organizer can choose the method and platform for announcing the list of winners, usually the official website. If there are any changes, the organizer will publish all changes on the official website. The organizer reserves the right to make reasonable changes to any schedule.

7. Rights of the Organizer
The Organizer retains the authority to cancel, modify, or suspend the Awards at any time due to unforeseen events, including but not limited to technical issues, fraud, or low participation. In such cases, the Organizer is not liable for refunds or damages. The Organizer may also disqualify participants for suspected misconduct, violation of terms, or actions deemed detrimental to the Awards’ reputation, at its sole discretion.

8. Liability
The Organizer is not responsible for late submissions except the technical failures affecting participation. Participants assume all risks associated with submitting entries and agree to hold the Organizer harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from their participation.

9. Privacy
Personal information collected during the Awards will be used for administrative and promotional purposes in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Participants consent to such use, including the public sharing of their names and project details if selected as winners.

10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Organizer’s jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration at a location chosen by the Organizer, with participants waiving the right to pursue class actions or jury trials.
